Software like a technical drawing: specified first, then built.
The five steps
Initial consultation
In 30 minutes we clarify what you want to achieve, what you use today, and whether I am the right fit — honest answer included, even if it is "you do not need this".
Written specification
I write down what will be built: features, data model, interfaces, acceptance criteria. The document is yours — any developer in the world could build from it.
Development on staging
Weekly visible progress on a staging environment. You see working software in your browser instead of status reports — and steer early when needed.
Acceptance
Against the specification, not against my gut feeling: every acceptance criterion is walked through. Whatever does not match gets fixed — the fixed price stays fixed.
Documented handover
Source code, documentation, credentials, deployment guide — handed over completely. Optional maintenance if you want it; lock-in never.
